Dogs Euthanasia Procedure?

Most vet's do give injections to relax the animal before giving the final injection. The euthanasia solution does not make the heart explode in anyway. It stops the heart , is very quick, and normally the only thing felt is the injection of the needle. After the dog pes the muscles can contract and look like the dog is still alive and reacting but it is not. A moaning sound may even be heard as any air left in the lungs is pushed out as the muscles contract.
