Hairdressers help me please!?

I got a perm about 8 months ago. I have straight hair and I wanted pretty loose curls. I took many pictures to her and she permed my hair. My perm only lasted about 2 weeks. The thicker and more dense your hair is the less chance of the perm actually staying. A perm does so much damage to the hair follicles that I would not recommend going back and getting it re-done. Too much can ruin your natural hair texture and create frizz. I would call your hairdresser and explain to her what happened. Ask her what she thinks you should do, and if you decide to go back and get it re-done make sure she doesn't charge! She should fix it free of charge. Hope this helps.
