Question about blood sugar levels!?

I woke up this morning and tested my blood sugar level and it was 131, I hadn't eaten for well over 8 hours. I tested again about an hour later. I had a cup of coffee and smoked (I know, bad!) and my level was 169. I tested again about 2 hours later, I had a Balance Bar, string cheese, and half of a blended mocha coffee and my level was 82. I have not been dx with anything related to blood sugar, I am testing because I am thinking I may have an adrenal gland problem, and I read it can affect blood sugar levels. My hands were shakey which is why I decided to do the 3rd test. Any imput on this? Is this normal?
