I recently asked a hypethical question on ASK. Why is it that many men aren't sympathetic to abuse.?

I just asked a question on ASK.. I pretended as if i needed an answer to a question dealing with alimony and childsupport and an ex abusive spouse not trying not to pay suppport. Why is it that men especially think that hitting a woman isn't an issue? They are quick to answer about what a woman shouldn't get or sahould get without knowing all the details and jumping to conclusions. Would it make a difference if the man tried to murder the woman and children intentionally?
