Does anyone know a good place to rent cabins in North Georgia?

I live in North Atlanta and would like a great place to get away in the Mountains. I realize I have the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains in very close proximity, but I don't know any specific places to visit. I'm looking for a relaxing place with plenty of hiking trails, rivers, and possibly a lake near by. Also, hopefully it's a little off the beaten path and reasonably priced.
