Do you like this idea I have to ask this girl out?

Ok. I want to ask a girl out and I have a cute idea.. I just want some girls opinions on what they would think about it. (By the way, I am known for having a good sense of humor) Also I would tell her I have a surprise for her tonight. Ok. So I freeze a rose in a little ice block.. I leave it on her door step with a hammer and a note that says "SMASH ICE". I ring the door bell and run away to hide behind the corner of her house and then after she gets the rose, I walk over to her and whip out a note card and act like I'm reading it nervously. I say "Ok, now that we have broken the ice... I would like to ask you if you want to go out with me!" ... That's the end of it. I need some feedback please. THANKS! :)
