After a divorce -?
I take it that your mom has custody of the children & was supposed to receive child support payments. Perhaps you're wondering if she can prevent visitation if he hasn't paid up -- No, she cannot! The court is the only legal authority that can remove or modify visitation & they can enforce the payment of child support owed (they can even garnish his wages if needed to collect payments that are in arrears). One of the last resorts, for particularly blatant offenders may be thrown in prison for being a "deadbeat Dad." However, the court hesitates to issue such verdicts except in the harshest of cases, since the deadbeat dad goes to prison & subsequently can't pay the child support without a job while he is incarcerated, now can he?
